Blogging is work – you need to deliver and brands are waiting. But sometimes, an outfit just inspires you and you can’t wait to style and capture it, like this one featuring my FAVOURITE colour combinations: pink, coral and black. Just look at my boutique logo (SexyPlus Clothing) – isn’t this colour combination dreamy?
It always works, and never goes out of style. Combining this coral crochet sleeveless top by Point Zero Curvy with black was a no-brainer, but the look came to life when I paired it with this pink clutch by Coach and a stunning statement necklace by Your Big Sister’s Closet (both borrowed from my friend Lisa of Mustangsallytwo).
The crochet top is a great piece on it’s own for a more casual weekend look, but works as a great shell and provides vivid contrast to an outfit. As with all Point Zero designs, the devil is in the details and I love the large chevron texture in the middle. And it’s lined – you can’t really tell but there is a layer of thin fabric under the crochet.
The superb statement necklace is something I might need to beg Lisa for when (and if) she ever gets tired of it. PLEASE LISA PLEEEEEAZZZZ!
A basic black cardigan makes this look office ready.
In the spirit of Spring, I was so excited to feature these new ankle pants by SexyPlus Clothing. They are SUPER comfy, stretchy, and right on trend combining both a bit of cut-out and some fishnet at the hem. Made from a cool, breathable waffle-like fabric, they are a wardrobe basic that’s anything but basic.
So trust me when I say pink and coral never quarrel, and just make peace with these palette sisters.
