Roses are Red, Fall is Blue!

In addition to “marsala” – a new color for Fall, which, to me sounds like a delicious Indian Dish, cobalt blue is here to stay. When I went in to Addition Elle last week I fell in love with this super soft, cozy blue & black cardi. Although the print or weave style is called “Space Dye”, it was totally down to earth πŸ™‚

I pictured myself styling it with a plain black dress, graphic t-shirt, or with denim and boots as shown in this post. The thing with long cardis is that they are so dramatic, flattering and convey this sense of haute style. I’m so glad they are trending, and you’ll see more of them next year too in lace and crochet and beyond.

Not only does it have a hoodie, but it also has POCKETS! Simple pleasures ladies.

To keep the look light and fresh, I chose a basic long white cami, acid wash jeggings and this wide black and blue belt also from Addition Elle (last year) and my favorite over-the-knee wide calf boots by SexyPlus Clothing (designed by Boots by Pamela).

For the accessories, I chose a white Zwarovski necklace and earring set by SexyPlus Clothing (designed by My Beaded Designs), and my triple LOVE INFINITY bracelet set by Pennington’s (last year).

You see ladies, you CAN wear belts and fitted tops even with a belly.

And finally, this selfie to show you the incredible magnifying power of Younique Fiber Lashes by You’ve got to try them – so much easier and more effective than falsies.

Thoughts? Do you like the look, and are you into the long cardi trend? Comment below, I always love hearing from you.
